It is rumored that ninety percent of women are wearing the wrong bra size. Wearing the wrong bra can lead to discomfort and back pain, along with imperfections that are noticeable even through clothing. Sexy bras or nursing bras just need to fit right to get the job done. Plus size bras that are the wrong size will more that likely lead to problems. There are a couple of different ways that bra fitting can be accomplished, and you can even do it at home. Many bra and panties companies have different fitting for their bras, so the results will inevitably vary with the bra.
To size yourself for your bras, there are some easy measurements to take. First, measure around your ribcage, just under your breasts. This measurement is the number portion of the size. The bra cup size is taken by a measurement around the fullest portion of the bust. Leave about half inch for bra comfort. Add five inches to this number. Take the difference between the two measurements. If there is no difference, the cup size is A, one inch equals B, two inches equals C, and so on. Bra sizes are A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, FF, and G.
